A Bio. By, Kelsea Carter
I am a multidisciplinary artist based on the Central Coast of California. My work is mainly produced from my obsession with the dual concepts of being holy and human. Currently I am focused on the process of designing and forming wax for casting into jewelry or objects. Ny newest collection < Ritual Jewelry > is playful and fancy and speaks to the love for jewelry being much more than wearing an accessory. It is a companion and part of life’s many rituals.
I have a vast experimental nature which has also movtivated me to create wearable objects with alternative materials such as seed beads, paper clay, and fibers. Outside of jewelry, I enjoy clay building, painting, drawing and photography. I received a degree in art from the University of Oregon in 2014. Other interests include long walks on the beach, comedy, electromagnetism, and cults. ::)
