CUSTOM ART

A selection of items are available for custom depending on my schedule. Any metal jewelry post 2024 will be wax cast verses the former sheet metal work I have been doing. This means the jewelry will be slightly different because of the parameters. It also means I can do custom work in silver and gold, as well as brass. There is an extra fee for anything custom.

SHIPPING

Most items ship within 1 week of purchase. Made to Order can be 4-6 weeks. Custom is TBD and wholesale/gallery 1-2 months. Shipping charges are averages based on weight and may be subject to change after purchase. Domestic and International are available. Customer is responsible for all import duty fees. If an error has occurred via shipping and it’s taking too long, I am sorry. If you need something sent urgently that’s not really my gig, but you can email me.

returns / refunds

There are no returns or refunds available. My work is one of a kind, special sacred star snow flakes and part of an experience. Once you have it, it has changed. For some outlandish reason of course always send me a message.

liability

The customer is responsible for the works of art after shipment unless an error has occurred by me. All art and jewelry is made as experiential. Many objects are made with fragile and delicate materials including paper and paint. Make sure you read the materials and understand the experience of the piece. Some items may be subject change over time. If something breaks, is lost, or needs to be fixed, I may or may not be available depending on what materials I am working with at the time or what projects I am immersed in. If I am able to repair or replace a piece, you will be responsible for the cost + shipping. All metalwork has been moved out of my studio to a casting studio, while I may not be able to replicate a past piece I can potentially remake something similar in the style of wax casting. All paper MOONFACE jewelry can be repaired if slightly damaged.

CARING FOR THE JEWELRY

All items are handmade and unique. Paper mache jewelry will have wear on them over time, but properly cared for they will last in good shape. Seed bead jewelry can be cleaned with a little warm water and gently using a toothbrush. If the bamboo felt backing is looking fuzzy you can use a piece of tape to brighten it up or gently trim any fuzz with scissors. The bead jewelry will not be much affected by getting wet, however care is always recommended. Brass jewelry will patina when in contact with oil + moisture. Some people really enjoy the maturing process of the metal, while others prefer to keep the metal shiny. To keep it from darkening, keep away from bathrooms and moist environments and maintain minimal handling. You can keep it in a plastic bag with a piece of felt or napkin for even greater assurance. If you would like to clean it - never fear! - there are 100 ways to do so…here are a few: vinegar and salt - baking soda and lemon paste - baking soda and salt paste - ketchup - a polishing cloth / wool cloth - toothpaste - scouring pad from your kitchen - brass brush.

WHOLESALE / gallery

I will have wholesale jewelry available again in the spring of 2024. Art jewelry, sculptures and paintings can be planned for shops, galleries, or shows. There is at least a 2 month prep time. Contact me: bykc33@gmail.com
